POSITION:
Healthcare Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
► Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years experience in a managerial position in the healthcare industry. (Management experience within the retirement industry beneficial.)
► Experience in Alzheimer’s Dementia
► Knowledge and practical experience of the professional requirements and procedures required as stipulated in the Scope of Practice of the South African Nursing Council.

► Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Afrikaans Excellent interpersonal relationships.
► Strong administrative and organizational skills.
► Fully computer literate.
► Must be able to work under pressure.
► Must be able to work at a fast pace when required.
► Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, and independently.
► Comfortable with all nursing procedures, including Intravenous Therapy.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
► Manage and coordinate all healthcare services offered in the retirement estate, including Primary Healthcare, Assisted Living, Homebased Care, and later Frail- and Memory Care units.
► Manage all Medwell SA staff working at the retirement estate.
► Quality assurance of healthcare services.
► Liaise with residents, potential residents, family members, representatives, and estate management.
► Monthly management reporting

WORKING HOURS:
Mondays to Fridays 08:00 to 17:00 or 07:00 to 16:00 (depending on operational requirements)
