I had the privilege of working with Collette Paul over the past few weeks. At very short notice, she kindly assisted me in arranging care for my 86-year-old father-in-law after he was discharged from hospital.
Collette was friendly, compassionate, efficient, and professional. Within 24 hours, she had arranged for a nursing sister to visit him at home, assess his needs, and put the appropriate care plan in place. She then organised a carer (Leante') who was not only experienced in caring for the elderly but also incredibly kind and gentle.
Her warm, reassuring manner immediately put my father-in-law and his partner at ease, giving them the confidence and support they needed during a difficult time.
I live in Heidelberg, Gauteng, while Collette and her team are based in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). Despite the distance, the peace of mind they gave me was truly immeasurable.
I can highly recommend Collette Paul and her team. Their professionalism, compassion, and genuine care made an enormous difference to our family, and we will always be grateful for their outstanding service.

In Papenkuilstraat in Westering, four incredible women take turns making our parents' last days as comfortable as possible. Clarissa, Stella and the two Ronelles, you go above and beyond your call of duty. We appreciate your care and nurturing, your incredible patience and tolerance. You each have a unique way of speaking to them and touching them. It's fun for us to see how they respond to your voices. We honor and respect you. May the Lord bless you abundantly!

Medwell were exceptionally professional when dealing with my mom, through her post op care. All the carers and Sister Cilla were skilled at coping with every situation. I would like to make a special mention of Tiffany Hutton, who went out of her way for my mom, handling her moods and dementia, with patience and Grace. I don't live in the same town as mom, and she made sure to stay in contact with me on her physical and mental health. I really appreciated her empathy and kindness.

We are thankful for the staff of Medwell that have looked after our parents for many years. They all truly go above and beyond in the care that they provide. We can go about our daily lives knowing that they are well looked after. The Medwell staff love them as if they were their own family. It takes truly special people to do this work. Clarissa is especially good with them. She is able to get them to do things not even the family is able too. We appreciate all that they do.

Wow! Words can express my heartfelt gratitude to Medwell Staff from PE branch! The team (Colette, Sister Cecille, Nurses Jackie and Nancy) have been a godsend for my Mom (Colleen)! They supported on the last day of 2025 (31 Dec) and started looking after mom on 2 Jan, after having had bypass surgery in Oct 25 and getting double pneumonia in the Dec. They identified mom having a TIA and acted within seconds and were on the scene in minutes! Mom was made a priority and has had the most amazing care! Being a success story, mom has now recovered and her Doctors have all given her a great bill of health! They will sadly leave us now at end May of this year, but I can assure you all, I will call on them again if required. They have heart and soul, but best of all they not only care about their direct patients but also about they family members who are impacted and filled with guilt when not knowing what to do when it matters most. A huge thank you from my family! You ladies make a massive difference to so many lives! Lots of love

The Mitchell's, Malcolm and Yolande Mitchell have been blessed, at the most difficult time of our lives with the most incredible addition to the family. Her name is Zizo Mzinjana (we are based in Port Elizabeth). Zee, as she likes to be called, has been with us since December 8th. She is our angel, she is a true carer in every sense of the word, we and everybody that's seen her in action can testify that this is her calling, she is doing what she loves doing. She speaks to Malcolm like she is speaking to her own dad, soft spoken, kind, friendly and with care. She doesn't hesitate when situations get scary for me, she's completely confident in her abilities. Nothing is ever to much, she is always willing and ready. Malcolm enjoys her company and we are incredibly grateful for Zee. Like I said to many looking for a carer...I wish a could clone Zee, so everybody could experience what we have. Thank you thank you!
